 Multi award-winning young band, Empirical, incorporate elements of classical, African and Cuban music into original, sophisticated, fresh-sounding and very exciting jazz - out of a Blue Note tradition. It’s a real group - with no specific front line or leader. Empirical are Nathaniel Facey (alto sax) Lewis Wright (vibes), Tom Farmer (double bass) and Shaney Forbes (drums/percussion).
